Arizona Regional Entertainer of the Year Rules

Rules as of 9/22/2023

1. Contestants must be and at least 21 years of age and be able to show proof of age.

2. Judging will be on the total accumulated points system. The answering of questions by the person involved will break ties.

3. Contestants will be judged in the following categories: On Stage question, Presentation, Creative Evening Wear and Talent. Swimwear category is only for Mr. Entertainer of the Year.

4. The use of Marijuana or any other drug is a personal matter. However, they are not allowed and are not to be used in any host venue or on the host venue property. Please remember these habits are PERSONAL.

5. Talent will be limited to total of seven (7) minutes. Prop set up and break down time will be limited to total five (5) minutes. Talent presentations may be timed. However, it should be kept in mind with set up props the total allotted time is 12 minutes. Contestants are encouraged to keep actual talents to 7 minutes due to some facility time restraints.

6. Any type of talent is acceptable, except those that are illegal, or which might cause personal injury to the audience or any other person. If a contestant has a question regarding the acceptability of their talent, they should inquire with their promoter for
clarification.

7. The presentation category is limited to three (3) minutes. There is no prop set up or break down time in this category.

8. Any contestant that is not an appointed place at the appointed time may be disqualified with no refund entry fee.

9. The Entertainer of the Year contest does not discriminate against an entertainer with silicone or hormones, nor a competitor's ability to compete in an EOY segment after they may have completed sexual reassignment surgery.

10. The stealing of, or the intentional destruction, to any contestant’s property is not tolerated. Such acts render immediate disqualification with not reimbursement of any fees paid.

11. All music must be submitted with the contestant’s name and category via thumb drive or email or submission service.
